A new heating and cooling system is a big investment, and the warranty behind it matters. Every new residential system we install comes with a 10-year parts warranty from the manufacturer. Because a parts warranty doesn’t pay for the labor to install those parts, we now offer an optional 10-year labor warranty through JB Warranties, too. Together, they give Clay & Putnam County homeowners long-term coverage on both sides of a repair bill. Here’s how each one works, and how to make sure you keep it.
Warranty Basics
Every new residential system we install comes with a 10-year parts warranty from the manufacturer. If a covered part fails because of a manufacturer defect, the replacement part is covered.
A manufacturer’s parts warranty pays for the part, not the time it takes a technician to diagnose the problem and install the replacement. On many repairs, the labor is the bigger share of the bill.
For added protection, we now offer an optional 10-year labor warranty through JB Warranties. It must be added within six months of installation, so if we installed your system within the past six months, you’re still eligible.
Manufacturers like American Standard and Gree require the equipment to be registered within 60 days of installation to get their longest parts coverage. Miss that window and the coverage can be shorter.
American Standard notes that a system not installed and maintained by a licensed HVAC professional could lose its warranty. Regular tune-ups through our maintenance plan keep your records in order.
When something goes wrong, you call us. Our team diagnoses the problem, makes the repair, and works through the warranty side with the manufacturer and JB Warranties, so you aren’t chasing paperwork.
Manufacturer Warranty
As an American Standard Premier Dealer, we install equipment backed by American Standard’s limited warranties. They cover the cost of parts that fail due to a manufacturer defect — not the labor to replace them. How long that coverage lasts depends on registration:
Installing a Gree system? We’re a Gree Select Dealer, so qualifying Gree systems we install carry a 10-year parts and compressor warranty when registered within 60 days. Coverage varies by model, so ask us for the exact terms on your equipment.
Optional 10-Year Labor Warranty
JB Warranties is an employee-owned company that provides extended warranties to HVAC and plumbing contractors nationwide. We partner with them so our customers can add 10 years of labor coverage to a new system.
The manufacturer covers the part; the labor warranty covers the work. Together, a covered repair doesn’t leave you paying for a technician’s time out of pocket.
JB Warranties coverage isn’t limited to a single repair or a set number of repairs. It stays with the equipment for the life of the plan agreement.
JB Warranties does not charge or collect a deductible on its plans, so a covered repair doesn’t come with a surprise fee at the end.
JB Warranties plans cover the equipment regardless of who owns it and can be transferred to a new homeowner free of charge — a nice selling point if you move.
JB Warranties plans are underwritten and insured by Dealers Assurance Company, so your coverage is backed by more than a handshake.

How It Works

Warranty protection starts with a proper installation by a licensed contractor. Our team sizes, installs, and starts up your new system, then walks you through the coverage that comes with it.

American Standard and Gree both tie their longest parts coverage to registering the equipment within 60 days of installation. Dealers often handle registration for their customers — ask us to confirm yours is on file.

Our optional 10-year labor warranty through JB Warranties must be added within six months of installation. You can add it when we install your system, or call us any time inside that window.

Warranties protect against defects, not neglect. American Standard notes that skipping professional installation and maintenance could void your warranty. Our maintenance plan covers up to two tune-ups a year and keeps a service history on file.
